- Plug-in or 240 V
- 240 V, hardwired: an electrician runs a dedicated 240 V circuit.
- Circuit
- 240V / 50A hardwired, as the maker publishes it.The maker publishes a 50 amp circuit. Sized from the 10.5 kW heater by the 125 percent continuous load rule, the minimum is 60 amps on 4 AWG copper. NEC 422 gives the rating marked on a listed appliance authority over that calculation, so both figures can be right; your electrician decides which applies to your run.Check it on the calculator.
