- Placement
- Outdoor
- Plug-in or 240 V
- 240 V: needs a dedicated 240 V circuit, typically installed by an electrician.
- Circuit
- 240V / 40A, as the maker publishes it.The maker publishes a 40 amp circuit. Sized from the 8 kW heater by the 125 percent continuous load rule, the minimum is 45 amps on 6 AWG copper. NEC 422 gives the rating marked on a listed appliance authority over that calculation, so both figures can be right; your electrician decides which applies to your run.Check it on the calculator.
Key facts
- Running cost
